Really Fun!

Glad you enjoyed! :D

Very smart game. Sound was very nice, I kinda looked forward to myself dying so I could hear the sound of glass breaking. Good game overall.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! :D

great small game! got a 9 on my first try :D

probably a nice game to play when you are on a short waiting period or alike.

as an idea for a possible “twist” to the scoring system: you could calculate the size of the area the player has positioned themselves in, tho I guess it would take a bit of maths

Awesome! It would be really cool to implement that, that way the player would want to try and be in smaller areas to score more, good risk reward. though, the math behind it would for sure be tricky. :)

I scored 3 on my first try haha, I guess I am not good at it.  But overall it's a really nice interesting game and would be nice if can be published on mobile.

I think eventually it will be published on mobile, if I can find the time to make that happen. 0.o Thanks for the comment! :D

Scored 13 on my first go :)
It's a very nice game and has a feeling of a solid polish.

Very minor feedback:

  • I would love to know my current score while playing
  • the sound of breaking glass was... too quiet? At least I sort of missed it while playing, my brain only recorded the sounds of beams shooting out and it wasn't until I saw the glass has broken when I realised my "brilliant" strategy wasn't so good after all :)

Excellent feedback, and impressive score for your first round! Yeah, I'll have to think of a way to show the score while keeping the feel of the game, maybe between levels it could flash. Thanks! :D

Must have been beginner's luck, as all the games afterwards I couldn't score any higher than 5 :)

Just now though, I found something that may be considered a bug (?) - you can hide inside a square and when the beams go outwards you will be safe. Not sure if that was intended.

potentially a "timeout bar" at the very bottom of the screen would be handy to indicate on when would the beams shoot out automatically. It would start with lets say a fully loaded white bar across the entire screen, and then it would ge shorter from one of the ends and essentially disappear when the time is off. Just an idea, nothing major really :)

I do know about that bug, but because other shapes can still get you. I wouldn't recommend it as a main strategy. :) Thanks for the great ideas! I like a diminishing bar much more than an outright timer for sure.

found a bug, but I’ll keep it a secret until I get a high score of at least 28. Also the game is pretty fun

lol. Nice, you are not only playing the game, but you are playing the system! :D

Cool concept and works well indeed! Got to level 8 on the 2nd try, after I understood what's the idea. Works well! Agree with below, I'm too slow to figure out the safe position on time. The stress does add to the gaming experience, but it might be too hard for a lot of people, including me ;-)

I thought about adding a difficulty option. future versions will definitely need to have that then. Thanks for the feedback! :D

Edit: Nevermind. 15 now. 15 minutes playing and 15 higshcore. coincidence?

Sounds like you just need to play for 27 minutes! :D

super cool

I would love a time free (or at least slower or beginner) option , because I love the challenge but I  can't move or think that fast..

also.. maybe stop the movement after the click, 'couse sometime in the excitement of finding a good place you jiggle a bit  and die.

You don't have to click, but I did have the player freeze at one point but based on feedback took away that feature. Sadly this project is going to be a one and done just because I have so little time, but if time permits in the future, I'll definitely add that cause it is a great idea, as well as maybe make it a mobile game. :)

great work

Thank you! :D

a pc download and an android version maybe would be cool

if time permits in the future I will do so. :)
